At Reiki on Clifton, my work is guided by a simple intention: to hold space for healing, peace, and connection — for both people and animals.

My Path to Reiki

My professional life in the medical field has been centered around service to others . For 20 years, I have worked in medical imaging as a certified CT and MRI technologist, where patient care is a priority. Once my two daughters set off on their academic pursuits, I was able to shift my focus to volunteer work with hospice patients. It was through this process that I encountered reiki and the benefits it could provide. That discovery awakened something in me and inspired a new chapter of my healing journey and I knew I wanted to share it with others.

Reiki Education & Lineage

Drawn to study Reiki more deeply, I trained through International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) certified instructors and received certifications in:

• Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki I & II

• ICRT Animal Reiki I & II

• Usui/Holy Fire® III World Peace Reiki Master

In the fall of 2025, I had the opportunity of a lifetime to travel to Mount Kurama, Japan, the birthplace of Reiki, where I studied directly with William Lee Rand, founder of the ICRT and Colleen Benelli, Co-Director of the ICRT to receive my Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master including World Peace Reiki certification — a transformative experience that strengthened my commitment to sharing Reiki as a universal tool for healing, peace, and connection.

My Approach

I see Reiki as a bridge — connecting science and spirit, medicine and energy, the physical and the unseen. My background in medical imaging gives me a deep respect for the body’s wisdom and the importance of holistic care. Each Reiki session is a collaboration — a calm, supportive space where your body and energy can find their own natural balance.

Whether working with people or animals, my practice is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing begins with awareness and gentle presence.

About Reiki on Clifton

Located in the peaceful Clifton neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, Reiki on Clifton offers in-person and online Reiki sessions, animal Reiki, and certified Reiki training in the Usui/Holy Fire® III lineage. This studio was created as a place of rest, renewal, and connection — where both humans and animals can experience the quiet intelligence of healing energy.
